Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• water
• soda
• cocoa - 2/3 c
• baking powder - 1/4 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 2/3 c
• plain flour
• Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt together

How to make fudge cake:

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together until fluffy. Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt together. Add alternately with water and vanilla. Pour into 2 (9-inch) cake pans. Bake for 35 minutes at 350°. Cool and frost..Icing:2 1/2 c. powdered sugar1/4 tsp. salt1 egg3 Tbsp. water1/4 c. sugar1/2 c. shortening1 tsp. vanilla Mix powdered sugar, salt and egg. Boil water and sugar together for 1 minute. Blend with sugar and egg mixture. Add shortening and vanilla and beat until creamy.
