Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water
- soda
- cocoa - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 2/3 c
- plain flour
- Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt together
How to make fudge cake:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together until fluffy. Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt together. Add alternately with water and vanilla. Pour into 2 (9-inch) cake pans. Bake for 35 minutes at 350°. Cool and frost..Icing:2 1/2 c. powdered sugar1/4 tsp. salt1 egg3 Tbsp. water1/4 c. sugar1/2 c. shortening1 tsp. vanilla Mix powdered sugar, salt and egg.
