Brown sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla
• soda
• eggs, beaten - 3 item
• plain flour
• Crisco
• cream of tartar
• box light brown sugar - 1 item

How to make brown sugar cookies:

Sift together flour, soda and cream of tartar. Mix with sugar and Crisco, add eggs and vanilla. Shape into rolls on waxed paper. Refrigerate until cold. Slice and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° or 350° for 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
