Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- butter - 3/4 c
- boiling water
- Cool Whip - 8 oz
- frozen strawberries - 2 pt
- strawberry jello - 6 oz
- coarsely crushed pretzels
How to make pretzel salad:
Cream 3 tablespoons sugar and butter. Add pretzels and spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350° or microwave 2 1/2 minutes. Cool. Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and topping. Spread over crust and refrigerate 1 hour before next step.Dissolve jello in boiling water and add frozen strawberries. When slightly thickened, pour over cream cheese layer. Place in refrigerator until set.
