Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- coconut - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- Beat well
- 2 can fruit cocktail undrained
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Combine sugar, eggs and oil. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with fruit to egg mixture. Pour into 16 x 11 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle top with coconut. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Icing:1 stick butter1 c. sugar1 c. evaporated milk1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. coconut Combine butter, sugar and milk. Boil in double boiler for 10 minutes.
