Ingredients/Components

  • can pink salmon, deboned - 1 oz
  • egg - 1 item
  • stalk celery, cut into 1/4-inch bits - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 1 tsp
  • crackers, crushed - 10 item
  • cooking oil - 1 item

How to make fried salmon patties:

Empty salmon into mixing bowl after pouring off approximately 3/4 of fluid (debone salmon as much as possible). Add egg, celery, onion and crushed crackers. Mix thoroughly and make into 4 patties. Heat approximately 1/4-inch cooking oil in medium size frying pan. Cook patties until brown on one side (about 2 minutes) and turn over, browning patties on either side. Place patties on paper towels to drain oil. Serve hot.
