Sausage gravy
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 qt
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 6 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- dash of hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- dash of Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- poultry seasoning - 1/2 tsp
- pork sausage - 1 lb
- refrigerated biscuits - 1 item
How to make sausage gravy:
Crumble sausage in large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat. Add onion; cook and stir until transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2 tablespoons of drippings. Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat for about 6 minutes. Stir in milk. Add seasonings. Cook, stirring, until thickened.
