Ingredients/Components
- cooking oil - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- lemon - 1 item
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- seasoned salt - 2 tsp
- brown rice - 3 c
- medium green pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
- medium shrimp
- chicken, deboned
- medium red pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
- packet onion soup mix - 1 item
- heads scallions, finely chopped - 4 item
How to make fried rice:
Cook rice until it is crumbly, not sticking together. Clean and cut up chicken into bite-sized pieces. Clean and wash shrimp. Squeeze lemon juice onto shrimp and set aside. Season chicken with seasoned salt and garlic powder. In pan heat oil; add chicken. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Drain juice off shrimp and add to chicken in pan. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes. Add chopped peppers, scallions, onions and onion soup mix into pan with chicken and shrimp. Let simmer for five minutes. Turn off heat.
