Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- green tomatoes - 4 item
- Parmesan cheese optional - 1 item
- fresh thyme optional - 1 item
How to make fried green tomatoes:
Pour 1/4 to 1/2-inch vegetable oil in frypan. Slice tomatoes about 1/4-inch thick. Dip slices in flour mixture, then place in hot oil. Fry for 5 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
