Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 item
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- Italian seasoning - 1/4 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- whole chicken, cut up - 1 item
How to make fried chicken:
Mix flour and seasonings together. Roll chicken pieces in flour mixture. Fry in Crisco oil until done.Gravy: Remove chicken from pan; leave 3 tablespoons oil in pan. Sift in 4 tablespoons of flour or until thick. Brown flour; add 1 cup of water or milk. Stir until thickened.
