Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms - 8 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can beef consomme - 1 item
- garlic cloves, chopped - 2 item
- touch of sherry optional - 1 item
How to make fresh mushroom soup:
Melt butter in soup pot. Add sliced mushrooms and onions to pot. Cook 5 minutes. Add soup, undiluted. Add salt, pepper and garlic. Bring to boil, reduce to simmer and cook 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Clear soup, Mushroom.
