Fresh mushroom dip
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- pkg - 12 oz
- sour cream - 1/2 2/3
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1 lb
- cloves garlic, pressed - 2 item
- large red onion, chopped - 1 item
- bread sticks or crackers - 1 item
How to make fresh mushroom dip:
Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towel. Discard all but 1 tablespoon grease. Add onions and saut?© for several minutes over medium heat. Add garlic and mushrooms. Add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until cream cheese is melted. Remove from heat and add sour cream. Stir in bacon. Serve warm with bread sticks or crackers. May be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Makes 25 servings.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Mushroom.
