- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- nuts - 1 c
- pecans - 1/2 c
- sweet milk - 5 tsp
- sliced apples - 4 c
- butterscotch morsels - 8 oz
- cinnamon add to apples - 2 tsp
- Add next four ingredients and mix well; put in 9 x 13-inch pan
How to make fresh apple cake:
Combine first 6 ingredients. Add next four ingredients and mix well; put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with butterscotch morsels on top. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.Icing:3/4 stick butter1/2 c. brown sugar1 tsp. flour5 tsp. sweet milk1/2 c. pecans Mix all except pecans. Boil 3 minutes; take cake out of oven 5 minutes before time is up. Pour icing over cake; sprinkle on nuts. Put back in oven for 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
