French coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 3/4 c
- almond flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make french coffee cake:
Streusel Topping:1/2 c. sugar1 Tbsp. cocoa1 tsp. cinnamon3/4 c. chopped walnuts Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and dry ingredients. Mix well. Add flavoring; mix well. Spread half of batter in tube pan. Top with half of streusel. Pour remaining batter over streusel. Sprinkle remaining streusel over batter. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until tested done. Grease and flour the tube pan.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
