Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- sifted powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- sifted self-rising flour - 1 c
- 1/2 cans cherry pie filling - 1 item
- rolled graham cracker crumbs - 1 c
- whipping cream or 3 pkg - 1/2 pt
How to make french cherry pie:
Topping:1 large pkg. cream cheese1 c. powdered sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 pt. whipping cream or 3 pkg. Dream Whip1 1/2 cans cherry pie filling Blend ingredients together and spread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake the crust at 400° for 15 minutes.Topping: Whip whipping cream or Dream Whip (follow directions on box). Fold cream into cream cheese mixture. Spread this over baked crust. Spread cherry pie filling over entire mixture. Keep in refrigerator.
