Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/3 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour or cake flour
How to make french breakfast muffins:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 15 medium muffin cups (2 3/4-inches in diameter). Mix thoroughly the shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with milk. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 miRecipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
