French breakfast muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/3 c
- melted oleo - 1/2 c
- Grease 15 muffin cups
How to make french breakfast muffins:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 15 muffin cups. Mix thoroughly shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Alternate with milk. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.Topping:1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. melted oleo Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
