Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • warm water - 2 c
  • yeast - 2 pkg
  • tepid water - 1/4 c
  • warm milk
  • oil any kind - 1/2 c
  • flour more if needed - 6 c
  • cake yeast or 2 dry packets - 1 sq
  • butter melted in the milk - 1/4 lb

How to make focaccia:

Mix together the first 4 ingredients. Blend thoroughly remaining ingredients. Add yeast mixture to blended ingredients. Blend in well. Pour into two greased 5 x 9-inch pans. Let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Bake at 300° to 325° for approximately 55 minutes.
