Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped green onions - 1/2 c
- crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sliced onion - 1/2 c
- avocados, peeled and sliced - 2 item
- flour tortillas, warmed - 8 item
- sliced red bell pepper - 1 c
- beef or skinned chicken, sliced into strips
- Marinade:1 clove garlic, minced
- each: seasoned salt and ground cumin
- Marinate meat for 2 hours
- salsa and sour cream - 1 item
How to make fajitas:
Marinade:1 clove garlic, minced1 1/2 tsp. each: seasoned salt and ground cumin1/2 tsp. chili powder1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper2 Tbsp. vegetable oil2 Tbsp. lemon juice Combine marinade ingredients together. Marinate meat for 2 hours.Fajitas:3 to 4 Tbsp. vegetable oil1/2 c. sliced onion1/2 c. chopped green onions1 c. sliced red bell pepper8 flour tortillas, warmed2 avocados, peeled and sliced salsa and sour cream Quickly saute vegetables in oil until lightly browned. Remove from pan. Saute marinated meat about 4 minutes. Toss with vegetables. Spoon into flour tortillas. Serve with avocado slices, salsa and sour cream.
