Ingredients/Components

  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • chili powder - 1/4 1/2
  • ground cumin
  • seasoned salt
  • crushed red pepper - 1/4 1/2
  • flour tortillas - 8 item
  • sliced red bell pepper - 1 c
  • beef or skinned chicken, sliced into strips
  • each; sliced onion, green onions, chopped - 1/2 c

How to make fajitas:

Combine meat and marinade. Marinate for 2 hours.

Saut vegetables in the 3 to 4 tablespoons of oil until lightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

Saut meat for about 4 minutes. Toss with the cooked vegetables. Spoon into warmed tortillas. Serve with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, shredded cheese, tomatoes and onions.
