Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 pt
- milk - 1 pt
- whipping cream - 1/2 pt
- nutmeg optional - 1 item
- sugar, divided - 3/4 c
- eggs separate whites into separate bowl - 6 item
- shots Canadian Club - 11 item
- shots white rum - 2 item
How to make egg nog:
Beat egg yolks until lemon color. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar. Add the Canadian Club and rum.In a separate bowl, beat a pint of whipping cream until thick.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. While beating, slowly add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Fold whipped cream and egg whites into egg yolk mixture. Add half and half. Add milk.
If you like it thinner, add more liquor. Dust with nutmeg when serving.
