Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 6 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch
  • water - 2 c
  • sliced green onion - 1/4 c
  • soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • can drained bean sprouts - 1 oz
  • fried Rice-a-Roni - 1 pkg

How to make egg foo yong:

Sauce:2 Tbsp. cornstarch2 Tbsp. soy sauce2 c. water Prepare Rice-a-Roni according to package directions; cool. Beat eggs, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Stir in cooked Rice-a-Roni, bean sprouts and onion. Drop mixture by 1/2 cupfuls onto greased griddle. Brown on each side.

Sauce: Combine all ingredients; cook until thick. Serve over egg foo yong.
