Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- 9-inch pie crust
How to make egg custard pie:
Slightly beat eggs. Add sugar, milk (substitute part with half and half or evaporated milk). Add vanilla and salt. Put in crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in hot oven (400°) for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300° and bake until firm or when knifRecipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, < 60 mins.
