Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- sweetened whipped cream - 1 item
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- 9-inch pie crust - 1 item
How to make coconut custard pie:
In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Blend well. Sprinkle coconut into pastry shell. Pour egg mixture over coconut. Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool; garnish with whipped cream. Yield: One 9-inch pie.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
