Ingredients/Components

salt - 2 tsp
flour - 1/4 c
water - 1 c
paprika - 1/4 tsp
pepper - 1/4 tsp
can tomato sauce - 1 item
small onions, quartered - 4 item
beef, cut in 1-inch cubes - 2 lb
small potatoes, pared and halved - 4 item
small carrots, cut in 1-inch pieces - 4 item

How to make easy oven stew:

Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in plastic bag. Drop in beef and shake until coated. Mix with 2 tablespoons oil in 3-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 30 minutes, stirring once. Add vegetables, water and tomato sauce. Mix well. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 3/4 hours or until done. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
