Easy oven stew
Ingredients/Components
- stew beef, cubed - 2 lb
- flour - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 2 tsp
- small onions, quartered - 4 item
- small carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces - 4 item
- small potatoes, halved - 4 item
- sliced celery - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
How to make easy oven stew:
Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a paper bag. Shake beef pieces (a few at a time) until coated. Mix with oil in 3-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 400°. Stir once.
