Easy dinner rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- warm water - 1 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make easy dinner rolls:
Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl. Add sugar, salt, egg, shortening and 1 cup flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour, continue beating until smooth. Scrape batter from side of bowl. Cover; let rise in warm place until double, about 1 1/2 hours. Stir down batter and spoon into greased muffin tins. Let rise until double, about 30 minutes.
