Pull apart bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- All Bran cereal - 1/2 c
How to make pull apart bread:
Dissolve yeast in water; add to other ingredients in large bowl. Knead lightly. Let rise until double in bulk in warm place. Knead again. Form into 3 or 4 balls. Drop balls into melted shortening and place in large baking pan. Let rise again. Bake about 1 hour in oven at 350°.Used by Lillian Petty Light.
