Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- lard - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Bring next 4 ingredients to a boil; then pour over first 2 ingredients
How to make easy chocolate cake:
Set aside first 2 ingredients in bowl. Bring next 4 ingredients to a boil; then pour over first 2 ingredients. Mix well, then add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan and only bake 20 to 25 minutes. Ice while hot.Icing:1/2 c. butter4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a boil the first 3 ingredients, then add powdered sugar and vanilla.
