Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder
- egg whites - 4 item
- sifted flour - 2 c
- fresh coconut - 1 c
- milk or coconut milk - 3/4 c
How to make fresh coconut cake:
Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. (Save a little from measured amount to lightly dust coconut.) Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Fold in finely grated coconut.
