  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • Sift together sugar and flour

How to make chocolate cake:

Bring to a boil the oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water. Sift together sugar and flour. Pour liquid over dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Bring oleo, cocoa and milk to boil, then add powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour on warm cake.
