  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 item
  • self-rising flour - 1 c
  • paprika - 1 item
  • pepper - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • chicken broth - 2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/4 c
  • cream of mushroom soup - 1 c
  • boiled eggs, sliced - 3 item
  • or 5 chicken breasts - 4 item
  • Crust:1 stick oleo, melted

How to make easy chicken pie:

Crust:1 stick oleo, melted1 c. milk1 c. self-rising flour Boil chicken in salted water along with celery and onion. Cook until tender. Remove from broth and cool. Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Spread in large baking dish. Over this, arrange egg slices. Mix mayonnaise and mushroom soup; spread over egg slices. Sprinkle with pepper and paprika.

Skim fat from broth; measure two cups. Pour over mayonnaise and soup mixture. Add more if it looks dry. Let stand a few minutes before adding crust.

Crust: mix all together until smooth. Pour over chicken mixture and bake at 350° until golden brown.
