Easy chicken and dumplings
Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- chicken - 1 item
- flour tortillas
How to make easy chicken and dumplings:
Cover chicken with water; boil approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour (bring to a boil and then turn to medium-low heat). Let cool, then debone. Strain the broth and wash the pot. Put deboned chicken back in broth and bring to a boil. Add cut up strips of tortillas a little at a time. Stir. Add can of cream of chicken soup; stir until dissolved.You will have to use your own judgement, may need more liquid. If so, add chicken broth. When it starts to boil, turn down to medium-low heat. Cook about 15 to 20 minutes on medium-low heat.
