Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 c
- water - 6 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- dill seed - 1 tsp
- powdered alum - 1/4 tsp
- toe garlic - 1 item
How to make dill pickles:
Bring water, salt and vinegar to a boil. Put cucumbers in jars. Add alum, dill seed and garlic. Pour in boiled salt, water and vinegar. Seal jars.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
