Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 qt
- apple cider vinegar - 1 qt
- turmeric - 2 tsp
- fresh dill sprigs - 1 item
- garlic buds - 1 item
- fresh cucumbers, sliced - 1 item
- canning dill - 1 c
- alum to each qt - 1/2 tsp
How to make dill pickles:
Bring water, salt, turmeric and vinegar to rolling boil. Immediately pour over packed jars of cucumbers, garlic buds and dill. You may add hot peppers, if you like hot dill pickles. Seal jars.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
