Ingredients/Components
- cider vinegar - 1 c
- powdered alum - 1 tsp
- water no treated or chlorine water - 1 qt
- canning or clean stock salt - 1/4 c
- grape leaves may be used for crispness - 1 item
How to make dill pickles:
Put into a large kettle and bring to boil. Fill jars with cucumbers as desired and dill (may be dried or fresh). Garlic or hot peppers may be added also as taste desires.
