Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla extract - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1 c
  • can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • dash of cinnamon - 1 item
  • pie shell - 1 item

How to make custard pie:

In large bowl, mix all ingredients except cinnamon (taste mixture - you may need to add sugar). Pour into unbaked pie shell. (If you have too much, bake extra in custard cups.) Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake at 420° for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, until set. Do not overcook. Serve with Cool Whip, warm or cold.
