Cucumbers in sour cream
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- sugar or to taste - 2 Tbsp
- sour half and half - 1 c
- medium, firm cucumbers - 2 item
- small onion or 4 green onions - 1 item
How to make cucumbers in sour cream:
Layer thinly sliced, peeled cucumbers with minced onion and salt lightly. Cover and place in refrigerator for about 1 hour. Drain well. Mix the sour half and half or sour cream with the vinegar and sugar. Add to cucumbers and mix gently. Great with roasts.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Dips.
