Crunchy granola
Ingredients/Components
- chopped nuts - 2 c
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- coconut - 2/3 c
- margarine - 2 c
- dry oatmeal - 5 c
- honey or molasses - 4 c
- wheat germ optional - 3 c
How to make crunchy granola:
In one bowl combine oats, coconut, nuts and wheat germ. In another bowl combine brown sugar, margarine and honey. Mix the two together. Press firmly into well-greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes. Get out of pan immediately and spread out on a piece of waxed paper. Cool.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Breakfast, Granola and porridge.
