Crumb coffee cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• flour
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1 c
• raisins optional - 1 c

How to make crumb coffee cake:

In bowl, cut shortening into flour, spices, salt and sugar. Reserve 1 cup for later. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.
