Ingredients/Components

  • to 8 slices bacon, cut up - 6 item
  • jars mushrooms - 2 item
  • pkg - 1/2 lb
  • half and half - 3/4 c
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • parsley flakes - 2 tsp
  • sliced green onions - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • small garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • to 8 drops hot pepper sauce - 6 item
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c

How to make creamy mostaccioli with bacon and mushrooms:

In medium skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove fat and set aside. Add mushrooms to bacon fat. Cook until golden; drain. Set aside. Prepare mostaccioli according to directions; drain. In same saucepan, combine half and half, butter, parsley, salt, garlic and hot pepper sauce. Heat just until butter melts, stirring frequently. Combine bacon, mushrooms, mostaccioli, half and half and Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat. Place on warm serving platter; garnish with green onions. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 4 servings.
