Creamy almond chicken
Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- rosemary - 1/4 tsp
- small can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 6 item
- salt, pepper and paprika - 1 item
- cooking sherry - 1/4 1/2
- box wild and brown rice - 1 item
How to make creamy almond chicken:
Place chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. In large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in all other ingredients (except rice). Pour over chicken. Cover and cook in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Prepare rice according to directions on box. Serve each breast on mound of rice.
