Creamy corn and broccoli chowder
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- margarine or butter - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- cups water - 3 item
- cup half and half - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped 1/2 cup - 1 item
- 1/4 cups instant potatoes dry - 1 item
- cups frozen broccoli flowerets or cut broccoli - 2 item
- 1/2 cups frozen whole kernel corn - 1 item
How to make creamy corn and broccoli chowder:
Melt margarine in 3 quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir three minutes. Stir in water; heat to boiling. Stir in dry potatoes; cook one minute, stirring constantly. Stir in broccoli, corn, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. Stir in half and half.
