Creamy broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 3 c
- pkg - 2 oz
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 5 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion, minced - 1 item
- can cream of potato soup - 1 item
How to make creamy broccoli soup:
Saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add half and half, stirring constantly. Add broth. Add broccoli, nutmeg and potato soup. Cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Stir occasionally.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups, Broccoli.
