Chicken noodle soup
Ingredients/Components
- cans condensed chicken broth - 3 3/4
- soup cans water - 4 item
- medium carrots, diagonally sliced - 2 item
- celery stalks, diagonally sliced - 2 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- crushed dried thyme - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cooked cut up chicken - 3 c
- uncooked noodles
- green onions, diagonally sliced - 2 item
How to make chicken noodle soup:
Heat broth, water, carrots, celery, onion and seasonings to boiling in Dutch oven; reduce heat. Cover; simmer until carrots are tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in chicken and noodles. Heat to boiling; reduce. Simmer uncovered 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in onions. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Pasta.
