Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- cream - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- caraway seed - 1/2 tsp
- medium head cabbage, shredded - 1 item
- medium red pepper, diced - 1 item
How to make creamed cabbage:
Melt butter in wok or deep skillet. Saute red pepper for 2 minutes. Add cabbage and cook for 4 minutes longer, stirring frequently. Add seasonings and cream; heat for 1 minute. Serves nicely with corned beef brisket.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups.
