Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- large Cool Whip - 1 (9
- instant vanilla pudding
How to make cream puffs:
Preheat oven to 400°. Boil water and margarine. Turn heat to low and add flour. Stir vigorously until mixture turns inward, away from sides of pan. Cool 1 minute. Put in bowl and add eggs, one at a time, beating vigorously by hand after each addition. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. When done, cut an opening in each one so steam escapes.
Filling: Mix pudding with milk with an electric beater. Fold in Cool Whip. Stuff puffs with about 1/2 teaspoon of filling (or more).
Cream Puffs will stay fresh in refrigerator, covered, for a couple days. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.
