Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts
- butter - 1/2 c
- confectioners sugar - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- unsifted flour - 2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
How to make cream cheese swirl coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. chopped nuts2 Tbsp. sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350°. Beat the cream cheese, lemon juice and confectioners sugar until smooth; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt; set aside. Beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add dry ingredients and sour cream; mix well. Pour 1/2 the batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Spoon cheese mixture on top of batter; spoon remaining batter over filling.Topping: Mix the nuts, sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over top of cake. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm.
