- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- hot pepper sauce - 1 tsp
- crackers - 1 item
- sliced unblanched almonds - 1/4 1/3
- minced green onions white part only - 2 Tbsp
How to make cream cheese and crab spread:
In small mixer bowl, beat until creamy the cheese, reserved crab liquid, onion, lemon juice, salt and pepper sauce. Stir in chopped crab meat and turn into shallow, greased 3-cup baking dish. Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350° oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serve hot with crackers.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Crab, Spreads.
