Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- butter or oleo - 2 Tbsp
- lemon extract or almond extract
- Mix cream cheese, butter and sugar
How to make cream cheese pound cake:
Sift dry ingredients together. Mix cream cheese, butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add extract to milk and then add alternately with the sifted dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan or loaf pan. If you wish, the following filling may be used.Filling:1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. butter or oleo1/3 c. flour1 c. chopped nuts Mix together. If you use this filling, pour half of the batter into pan, then filling, then the rest of the batter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Kid Friendly.
