White fruit cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- butter - 1 lb
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- nuts, chopped - 1/2 lb
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- white raisins - 1 lb
- candied cherries - 1/2 lb
- candied pineapple - 1/2 lb
- fine coconut - 1/2 lb
- 2 can sliced pineapple, cut in small pieces
How to make white fruit cake:
Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Pam may be used. Bake over a pan of water to keep cake moist. Bake 1 hour at 225°, then 1 hour at 250°, and then 1/2 hour at 300°.Recipe categories: Desserts, American, North american.
